Schmidt and Cece met in the [[Pilot]] episode. [[Schmidt]] was attracted to [[Cece]] when the guys interviewed her. In [[Cece Crashes]], Schmidt kept trying to make Cece really notice him and get interested in him to seal the deal. Cece didn't seem to have much interest in him, though. While Cece stayed at the loft, she slept in Schmidt's bed. Schmidt couldn't sleep on the couch because his sunburn was bad, so Cece let him in the bed, too. They both said they hated sleeping alone and Cece held his hand, quickly afterward stating that if he told anyone they held hands, she had two people in her contacts that would kill him. Literally.
