Gillian Vigman (born January 28, 1972) is an American comedic actress. Perhaps best known as a star of countless U.S. TV commercials, she has appeared in significant roles on ABC TV series' Sons & Daughters and Suburgatory, and appeared on three episodes of New Girl season one, as Schmidt's sexy boss, Kim.

Biography

Vigman was born in Holmodel, New Jersey, and got her start in professional comedy with The Second City improv troupe, based in Chicago. She performed across the U.S. with their national touring company, before settling in Los Angeles where she appeared, between 2003-04, on sketch comedy TV series MADtv. She later went on to star in the short-lived series Sons & Daughters, and in eleven episodes of Suburgatory's third season.

Vigman's film credits include bit parts in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, The Hangover Part I & III, Step Brothers, and Date Night. She costarred with Kevin Nealon, Andy Richter, and Ashley Tisdale in the 2009 family film Aliens in the Attic.

Her additional TV credits include small roles in Scrubs, According to Jim, Parks and Recreation, Californication, a recurring role in the final season of United States of Tara, and a supporting role on CBS' short-lived legal dramedy The Defenders in 2010-11, in which she appeared as Jessica, ex-wife of series lead Nick Morelli, portrayed by Jim Belushi.

But Vigman's most prolific work thus far has been in commercials - she has appeared in national campaigns for Hanes, Jack in the Box, Esurance, DirecTV, United Airlines, and more. Her prolific appearances in commercials were noted in this blog post at Don't Pke the Bear earlier this year.

She has one child with musician Dave Gibbs of the band Low Stars, whom she wed in summer 2008.
